Canadian Cadet Class Racing Driver
Born in 2016, Dominick is an 8-year-old racing enthusiast with a passion for speed and precision on the track. His love for racing began at a young age, and at just 7 years old, he joined the Canadian Mini Indy Arrive and Drive Series in Hamilton, Ontario. He finished the 2024 season with 6 wins, 10 podiums and 2nd place in the championship for his class.
For 2025, Dominick joined the HRKC (Southern Ontario's Premier Karting Club) and is participating in the Cadet class championship. He drove the VitalMotion Racing Team's Kart #23 and finished 4th place in the Championship — the highest of the rookies.
Off the track, Dominick is a fan of Formula 1, especially Alex Albon and the Williams Team. He also plays competitive Rep Soccer for Kitchener TFC and hockey for the New Hamburg Huskies. He enjoys reading “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” and “Dog Man.”
Founded in 2025, VMRT draws its roots from the former VitalMotion car club founded in the early 2000s. The small family-run team brings experience from the Canadian Sport Compact Series and over 35 years of Formula 1 passion. The team’s goal is to help Dominick enjoy karting while learning the world of open-wheel racing.
Dominick and VMRT are looking to partner with individuals and companies who want to support his racing journey. Go-karting is a complex sport requiring constant maintenance, parts, and consumables. A single race day can involve multiple oil changes, gear changes, bearing and clutch service, spec gas, tires, and occasional accident repairs.
